![]() ![]() I saw something similar to this at Sayal but they wanted $90 for it. ![]() Quality and that it lasts and works and is easy to use is important. RFD being cheaper is better, but features don't hurt. So something like this with one of those indoor antenna's would work I assume? But I'm not sure if this product is any good or garbage, does anyone else have any recommendations for a setup. I came across this on Amazon and I am assuming something like this would do the trick, plus it also can play downloaded content on USB's which is a bonus. Now I have no idea about brands, what to look for how much to spend what to get, etc. I really haven't a clue about Digital TV Converter Boxes, but I understand you would need one of those + hdtv antenna for the TV to be able to catch and decode the broadcasts. Their TV is from 2004-2005? I think? It was a pretty high end one for its time. ![]() They live directly about ~10km NW of the CN Tower. So basically they don't watch TV anymore, but still interested in catching some free news broadcasts and etc, that is being offered OTA in Toronto. Asking the forums for some help, for a colleague who's parents are much older now and want to cancel Cable and just use an indoor antenna. ![]()
